The procedure for assigning 900 MHz band frequencies in Réunion was launched on 20 September 2023. As stated in an Arcep press release on 5 December 2023, four companies[1] submitted a tender dossier for the frequency assignment procedure for the French overseas territory of Réunion.
Upon completion of its examination of these applications, Arcep concluded that the companies Orange SA, Telco OI, SRR and Zeop Mobile were qualified to participate in the assignment procedures for 900 MHz band frequencies.
The four candidates are now authorised to participate in the principal auction stage for the assignment of frequencies in the 900 MHz band that will become available in Réunion on 1 May 2025.
